Miley integration with Gravy

Miley Integration

Connect Gravy with Miley to launch QR and self-ordering without POS integration, with automatic routing to kitchen and prep printers.

Connecting Digital Ordering with Restaurant Operations

Gravy integrates with Miley (formerly Beteabon) to bring QR ordering and self-service ordering into the restaurant workflow — even when the venue’s POS is not integrated with Gravy.

When a guest places an order through QR Menu, Tablet Menu, or self-service kiosks, the order is automatically sent to Miley. Miley then processes the order and routes it to the appropriate printers and preparation stations inside the restaurant.

This allows venues to introduce modern digital ordering channels while keeping their existing operational setup.

Processing Orders Without POS Integration

A key advantage of the Gravy–Miley integration is that restaurants can launch digital ordering without direct POS integration.

Many restaurants use POS systems that cannot accept external digital orders. In these cases, Miley acts as the operational bridge between the guest ordering experience and the restaurant workflow.

Orders created in Gravy are transferred directly to Miley, where they are processed and printed for the kitchen, bar, or packing stations according to the restaurant’s configuration.

This allows restaurants to launch digital ordering without replacing, reconnecting, or changing their existing POS setup.

Supporting Table Service and Takeaway Orders

The Gravy–Miley integration supports both dine-in and takeaway ordering flows.

Orders placed through Gravy can include:

  • table service orders from guests sitting at tables
  • takeaway orders placed through QR menus or kiosks
  • hybrid service environments where both digital ordering and traditional ordering operate together

Order details, guest name, phone number, and notes can all be passed to Miley for restaurant handling.

This ensures the restaurant staff receives all necessary information to prepare and fulfill the order.

Kitchen Printing and Operational Routing

Once Miley receives the order from Gravy, it routes it to the correct preparation stations inside the restaurant. Orders can be printed automatically at kitchen, bar, or takeaway printers based on the restaurant’s setup.

Miley formats the order tickets according to the restaurant’s operational setup, helping ensure that orders reach the right preparation stations without manual intervention.

Order Status Synchronization

The Gravy–Miley integration can also return order status updates to the guest interface.

As the order progresses through the preparation workflow, Miley can send status updates back to Gravy. This allows the guest interface to reflect the order progress while the restaurant continues to operate through Miley.

Additional capabilities, such as menu synchronization from Miley to Gravy, are currently under development.
