Accept Payments Through Z-Credit
Gravy integrates with Z-Credit to support secure online and terminal payments across restaurant ordering flows.
When guests place an order through QR menus, QR kiosks, tablet menus, or tablet kiosks, Gravy initiates the payment through the Z-Credit gateway. The transaction is then processed through the relevant credit company. Funds are transferred directly to the restaurant’s merchant account, without Gravy acting as a financial intermediary.
Supporting Multiple Payment Methods
Through Z-Credit, restaurants can accept a wide range of modern payment methods commonly used in Israel.
Supported payment options include:
- credit and debit cards
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Bit
- 10bis (via supported payment terminals)
- Cibus (via supported payment terminals)
This allows restaurants to offer guests flexible payment options whether they order from their own phone, a tablet menu, or a self-service kiosk.
Online and Terminal Payment Flows
The Z-Credit integration supports both online payments and physical terminal payments, depending on the ordering channel used.
For example:
Phone-Based Checkout for QR Menu and QR Kiosk
Guests complete the payment directly on their phone using a secure Z-Credit payment page supporting cards and digital wallets.
Terminal Payments for Tablet Menu or Tablet Kiosk
Restaurants can connect a payment terminal supported by Z-Credit, allowing guests to pay with cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or employee meal cards such as 10bis and Cibus, where supported by the terminal setup.
This flexibility allows venues to support both mobile checkout and traditional terminal payments within the same ordering system.
Reliable Payment Flow for Restaurant Orders
The payment workflow between Gravy and Z-Credit is designed specifically for restaurant operations.
The typical payment flow works as follows:
- A guest places an order through a Gravy ordering interface.
- Gravy initiates the payment through the Z-Credit gateway.
- The credit company approves the transaction.
- The order is created in Gravy and marked as paid.
- The paid order is sent to the restaurant’s POS system.
If the POS system rejects the order or the POS integration is temporarily unavailable, Gravy automatically sends a payment cancellation request through Z-Credit and notifies the guest. This ensures guests are never charged for orders that cannot be fulfilled.
